The Starbucks Honey Citrus Mint Tea, also known as the Medicine Ball, is a soothing, citrusy, and slightly sweet tea perfect for cold days or when you’re feeling under the weather. Made with a blend of green tea, herbal tea, honey, and lemonade, this warm and comforting drink is packed with antioxidants and a refreshing minty finish. Now, you can recreate this Starbucks favorite at home with simple ingredients!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup lemonade (fresh or store-bought)
  • 1 Teavana Jade Citrus Mint green tea bag (or any minty green tea)
  • 1 Teavana Peach Tranquility tea bag (or any peach-flavored herbal tea)
  • 1 tbsp honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp fresh lemon juice (optional, for extra citrus flavor)

Instructions

  • Heat the Water & Lemonade:

    • In a small saucepan or microwave, heat 1 cup of water and 1/2 cup of lemonade until hot but not boiling.
  • Steep the Tea:

    • Pour the hot water and lemonade into a mug.
    • Add the Jade Citrus Mint and Peach Tranquility tea bags.
    • Let steep for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  • Add Honey & Lemon (Optional):

    • Stir in honey until fully dissolved.
    • Add a splash of lemon juice for an extra citrus boost.
  • Enjoy!

    • Remove tea bags and sip your homemade Honey Citrus Mint Tea for a cozy and refreshing experience.

Notes

  • If you don’t have Teavana teas, substitute with:
    • Jade Citrus Mint → Minty green tea (like Tazo Zen or Lipton Green Tea with Mint)
    • Peach Tranquility → Peach or chamomile herbal tea
  • For a stronger tea, steep the tea bags for 7-8 minutes.
  • Want it iced? Let it cool and serve over ice for a refreshing summer drink!
