- 1/2 cup (120ml) frozen mango chunks
- 1/2 cup (120ml) frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/4 cup (60ml) orange juice or coconut water
- 1/2 banana
Toppings:
- Fresh mango slices
- Fresh pineapple chunks
- 1/4 cup (25g) granola
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- Fresh banana slices
- A drizzle of honey (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Acai Base:
- In a high-speed blender, combine the frozen acai puree, mango, pineapple, orange juice (or coconut water), and half a banana.
- Blend until smooth and thick. If needed, add a little more liquid (1 tablespoon at a time) to help blend, but keep the consistency thick like sorbet.
- Assemble the Bowl:
- Pour the blended acai base into a bowl, spreading it evenly.
- Add the Toppings:
- Arrange the fresh mango slices, pineapple chunks, banana slices, granola, shredded coconut, and chia seeds on top.
- Drizzle with honey for added sweetness, if desired.
- Serve Immediately:
- Serve the acai bowl right away and enjoy its refreshing flavors!
