It’s a popular remedy for colds and sore throats, with its combination of herbal and citrus flavors. Now, you can recreate this Starbucks favorite at home with simple ingredients and enjoy its warming benefits any time you need a cozy pick-me-up.

  • 1 bag of Peach Tranquility tea (or a peach herbal tea of your choice)
  • 1 bag of Jade Citrus Mint tea (or a green mint tea)
  • 12 tablespoons honey (adjust to sweetness preference)
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup steamed lemonade (fresh or store-bought)
  • Optional: lemon slices for garnish
  • Optional: a few fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Boil 1/2 cup of water and pour it into a mug. Place the two tea bags (Peach Tranquility and Jade Citrus Mint) into the hot water and steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
  • While the tea is steeping, heat your lemonade in a separate microwave-safe container until hot but not boiling. This should take about 30-45 seconds in the microwave.
  • Once the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags and add the hot lemonade to the mug with the tea. Stir well to combine.
  • Stir in honey to taste, adjusting the amount depending on how sweet you want it.
  • Optionally, garnish with a slice of lemon or a few fresh mint leaves for extra flavor and visual appeal.
