Ingredients
Scale
For the Sandwich:
- 1 hoagie roll or sub roll
- 2 crispy chicken tenders (fried or baked)
- 3 mozzarella sticks, fried
- 1/2 cup French fries, cooked (crinkle-cut or regular)
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce
- 1–2 tablespoons ranch dressing
- 1 tablespoon shredded lettuce (optional, for freshness)
- 1 tablespoon chopped pickles (optional, for tang)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients:
- If you haven’t already, fry or bake your chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks according to package instructions.
- Cook the French fries until crispy and golden brown (you can bake them or fry them).
- Heat the marinara sauce in a small pot over low heat.
- Prepare the hoagie roll by slicing it open lengthwise.
Assemble the Sandwich:
- Start by placing the chicken tenders in the hoagie roll, then add the mozzarella sticks on top of the chicken.
- Layer the French fries on top of the mozzarella sticks, and then drizzle the warm marinara sauce over the fries.
- Drizzle ranch dressing on top, adding a little extra for that creamy kick.
- Optionally, add shredded lettuce and chopped pickles for freshness and crunch.
Serve:
- Close the hoagie roll and gently press down to help the ingredients stick together.
- Slice the sandwich in half and serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- Customize it: Feel free to add extra toppings like sautéed onions, jalapeños, or a few slices of bacon for added flavor.
- For a lighter version: Use baked chicken tenders, baked mozzarella sticks, and air fryer fries for a healthier twist.
- Meal prep: If you’re making this sandwich ahead of time, assemble the components (excluding the fries) and refrigerate. Add the fries and sauces just before serving to keep everything crispy.
