- 1 tbsp (15g) golden raisins or sultanas
- 2 tbsp (20g) slivered almonds

Instructions
- Prepare the Chocolate Base:
- In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate, butter, and heavy cream using a double boiler or microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Add Flavors:
- Stir in the rose water to infuse the chocolate with a delicate floral aroma.
- Fold in the chopped dates, golden raisins, and half of the pistachios and almonds.
- Assemble:
- Line an 8×8-inch (20x20cm) square pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into the pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
- Add Toppings:
- Sprinkle the remaining pistachios, almonds, dried rose petals, and a pinch of flaky sea salt over the top. Gently press the toppings into the chocolate to secure them.
- Set the Chocolate Bar:
- Refrigerate the pan for 2-3 hours, or until the chocolate is completely set.
- Slice and Serve:
- Remove the chocolate bar from the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Use a sharp knife to cut it into squares or bars. Enjoy immediately or store for later!
Notes
- Use high-quality dark chocolate (70% cacao or higher) for the best flavor.
- For a nut-free version, omit the almonds and pistachios and add dried cranberries or shredded coconut.
- Store the bars in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
- These make perfect edible gifts when wrapped in decorative boxes or cellophane bags.
